The idea to create a blog was spontaneous. I have known the idea of blogging since a long time, but never before had I had so much time in my hand as I do now. Perhaps, back then, writing was not my priority. It was something that came naturally to me like doodling on a stray paper when lazy, and so, I used to write something, crumple the sheet of paper and the next day, it’d be gone. So I really don’t remember how I used to write back when I was a kid and if I have improved or not.
Then came a phase in my life where I felt blank. A phase where I started delving into deeper things; when I used to sit for long and wonder about the very reason of existence; when I felt too uncreative. It was when writing rescued me from those foggy days and showed me sunshine. I realized that my words held tremendous power. And it was then I began writing seriously.
To this day, I still don’t ‘preserve’ what I write. If I happen to have this brilliant idea while travelling, I’d write it down somewhere and then forget the paper. People ask me why I don’t keep them, to which, I shrug. I really don’t have an answer. It’s not like my stories don’t mean anything to me, in fact, they mean the world to me. But I don’t know why I’ve never been able to hunt after that sheet of paper that has a story of mine, and keep it somewhere safe.
From this July 2015 on, we have an amazing writer who’ll be joining us on the blog.
My Mission With The Blog
We’ll admit here that when we started this blog, we had nothing serious on my mind. We never thought we’d make it past a thousand reads and receive some praises. But, they came along. We call it beginner’s luck!
We don’t have the typical resource blog, nor do we have anything informative to share. We write stories- about us; about you; about him; about her; about anything around us. It brings us peace. And we plan to share those tiny bubbles of inspiration with people like you.
At the end of the day, we don’t want a huge medal or something. we’d be just happy with someone whispering a “Wow!” while reading something from our blog.
What To Expect
Stories. Stories that we all carry with ourselves, some of which manage to get lost in the crowd. Your stories matter to us.
What you will find it positivity mingled in those strands of sorrow and a love for the journey of life.
