Behind the Flavour Of Ground Coffee Beans aka About Us

Tenderly, wryly human, with an ardent desire to write.

Both the writers, Theya and Pragati are students. Barely nineteen. And struggling with grades, college, life and what not. In those moments of chaos, they firmly believe, that writing is what keeps them sane.

  1. Dear Theya, I couldn’t avoid noticing the dark side of many of the stories. Assuming sincerity ( as opposed to fiction ), this struck me enough to warrant an offer.
Anonymity as you pointed out clearly allows the worst to spring out but it can have a positive side too. Help can be offered without prejudice for instance.
Supposing you ever wanted to talk about your experiences or more importantly felt the need to do so and since I couldn’t find a Contact form here, you could register an anonymous e-mail somewhere and use the one on my blog ( that you know ) to reach me and communicate.
Although myself am writing under a pseudonym, I am not doing so for bad reasons but simply to dissociate the ( possible ) value of the thoughts I offer from any judgmental inference that people routinely make when they think they know about an author / writer or a person in general.
If this did not seem proper and still on the assumption that the pain I surmised to be present does exist in reality, I’d recommend that you to find another way to freely exchange with honest caring persons on what pains you. I have lost friends over the years and even a sibling to auto-destruction stemming from unsaid things; it makes me wary of letting anyone live in darkness if there’s but a chance for help.

In any case, if I misread your writing and reasons thereof or shocked you with this offer :
feel free to disregard and/or delete this comment.

But do rest assured and remember that as you wrote in one of your pieces : no one is allowed to diminish your self-worth. Those that do that to others through acts or words have themselves if only temporarily denied their humanity.

    Take care, Tay.

P.S. Even having done so prior, I will likely write on these matters sooner than later in a post and while I won’t name you for the same reasons given above for myself, part of the good it may do will be to your credit for having inspired it. 😀

      2. Haha! My books? I don’t know why it makes me giddy with happiness – the entire “your books” thing. I drift into a dreamland lol, imagining books on the shelf of a bookstore. I guess that deja vu extends to a far away time in future.

  9. Wonderful blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little
lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with
a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many
options out there that I’m totally confused .. Any ideas?

    Appreciate it!

  10. Very nice. It succinctly captures what a lot of us aspiring writers are thinking as we compose our poems and write our blog posts and dream our dreams. I have found blogging to be a great help in getting me off my butt and writing every day. I have to believe that degree of discipline will pay off some day. Keep on sharing your work. I love when I get an email that you’ve posted something new.
